Howdy, everypony!

I'm Clem, but you can call me Jewel.
I made this blog to show the Brony community my plushie-making process. Although, knowing me, I'll either forget to post or hate the end product so much I never post again.
I was mainly inspired by BabyLondonStar's pony plushies and the fact that her Gala Rainbow Dash sold for US$2,275. The plushies are amazing so I thought I'd try my hand at making some.. also, I really need $2000 right now.

Okay, enough of the pointless backstory. I'm currently working on my "practice pony" to see if my pattern is a good as I think it is. So far, I have run into problems, like the fact that my sewing machine is a pain in the royal behind and keeps throwing out half-flanked attempts at stitches (they look fine from the front, but are all tangled at the back. If someone could help me with this, it'd be much appreciated.) and that I've made some parts too small or too big, in which case I just used my scissors to "even things out".

I'm really glad I did this practice first or I would have wasted a ton of money on buying minky. Speaking of minky, I'm having trouble finding some in Fluttershy's colours. Hopefully I end up with some because otherwise I'll end up ordering over the internet which I don't personally feel is a good idea.. Celestia knows how much or little fabric I'll buy.

Anyway, to finish off my introuductory rant, here's the pictures of my progress so far. I've sew both legs and the stomach onto one side.

See you round!
